We were sitting next to each other. (Вы сидели рядом .. а сейчас уже не сидите? Если и сейчас .. то будет - W are sitting ...) Derrick and I have a lot in common, so we spend a lot of time together. If we do fall out, it's never for very long. ( Vне непонятно использование фраз. глагола stick up .... Вы то сами как его перевели? .... есть предположения ... исходя из контекста -как поддерживать, лучше заменить его)) )
